Rental Car Village hires campervans available for rental from either Christchurch or Auckland. We offer three models of campervans to select from.
Micro Campervan
Micro campervans can be hired at RCV office at depots located at Auckland and Christchurch. Our cheapest design of motor home we provide for hire. The motorhome curtains, a folding bed, outdoor folding table and chairs, cooker, utensils for eating and cooking, ice chest, a container for water, 240v power connection when using powered sites within camping grounds, plus hanging light. An awning which fits above the back door hatch to obtain space for yourself to change clothes. The awning over the rear door is water proof and functions to be pegged to the ground.
Thrifty Camper van
The middle range design gives more space and is designed for 2 people. The interior comfy and private containing curtains all around. The day sofa changes to 2 single or 1 double bed. There is a cabinet with a fold down table is placed at near the back door of the rental vehicle for convenient use when making meals. Preparing meals is easy with a dual ring gas burner and grilling plate. You can prepare meals while standing within an awning that fits above the rear door. Catering equipment comprises of a saucepan, a fry pan, fish slice, knife, plates, cups, bowls, utensils, a brush, and a towel for dying utensils. The car includes water container, power cable when using power sites at holiday parks, and also camping light. The car has a 1,500cc motor.
Economy Campervan
This camping vehicle has a similar inside compared to the Thrifty motorhome. Except the Economy contains a more powerful 1800 cc motor.
